Enjoy a reading of 'A Cup of Christmas Tea' by Tom Hegg.  Make Lavender Oatmeal Bath Tea for yourself or a friend.  Christmas coloring pages will also be available.  Bring a plate of your favorite Christmas treat to share (optional of course).

Thursday Evenings - 5-9pm

New at the library!  Join us on Thursday nights for board games and card games.  Challenge your family, friends or a stranger with a game from the library's collection.

VHS to DVD Conversion
On weekdays, someone will be available to assist you in converting your personal home movies on VHS to DVD.  The service is free, but you need to bring your own Read/Write DVD's or you may purchase them from the Friends of the Library for $0.50/ea. Homebound Delivery Service

Starting in the month of October 2010, the Shenandoah Public Library will offer homebound delivery of library materials to patrons in Shenandoah city limits who can't get to the library because of temporary hardship due to major illness, an ongoing need due to physical handicap, long-term illness, or homebound seniors.  You will receive personalized visits, no overdue fines, longer lending periods (8 weeks), and delivery right to your front door.  Delivery will be made on the 1st and/or 3rd Friday of the month, and participants will need to call in their requests by 5pm on the Wednesday prior to delivery.  Librarians will work with you to select books that are to your taste.  Call Carrie or Liz at the library for more information or to sign up! 712-246-2315
